Back in February 2015, a two-year-old girl named Vivian was sadly diagnosed with childhood leukemia. Since then she has been undergoing treatment at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
From the first day she entered the hospital, just over the road there was construction work taking place outside. Vivian’s family watched their little girl become more and more fascinated with what the construction workers do.
She used to stand by the window waving at the workers who spent their days on the beams and cranes. She even got her very own construction hat because she wanted to be just like them.
